1. This Website’s Role
Eagle Mountain Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public rolls, indexes, portals, libraries, and historical collections concerning Eagle Mountain, Utah County, and Utah. It does not host government records and is not connected to any government office, court, library, or custodian.
2. Permitted Site Use
Use the pages only for lawful personal research, family history, civic understanding, and ordinary reference. You may not use the site or anything reached through it to stalk, harass, intimidate, harm, impersonate, break the law, evade a privacy control, or make a decision governed by consumer-reporting rules.
3. Consumer Reports
This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Nothing on the pages or in a linked tool is a consumer report, and it may not be used for credit, employment, housing, insurance, tenant screening, or another purpose regulated by that law.
4. Outside Links
Utah County, Eagle Mountain City, Utah Courts, state agencies, libraries, archives, and sponsored tools maintain their own terms and policies. We do not control their content, availability, prices, forms, privacy practices, or search results.
5. No Warranties
The site is supplied as available and without warranties. We do not promise that a page, fee, office detail, coverage date, external link, or record description is complete, current, accurate, or available at every moment.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from the site, a linked resource, an unavailable portal, or a choice made from a record found through them.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from a claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the pages or breach of these terms.
8. Copyright and Copying
The original writing, design, logo, and layout belong to the site operators and are protected by copyright. Brief quotations with attribution and ordinary linking are welcome. Republishing full pages or systematically copying content is not allowed.
9. Changes
We may revise these terms by posting a replacement on this page. Continued use after a revision means you accept the updated version.
10. Access Restrictions
We may block or limit access for a user who violates these terms, abuses a search feature, attacks the site, or uses the material unlawfully. We may do so without advance notice.
11. Utah Law
These terms are governed by Utah law without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Utah public-record requests are governed by the Government Records Access and Management Act, Utah Code Title 63G, Chapter 2, including §§63G-2-201, 63G-2-203, 63G-2-204, 63G-2-205, and 63G-2-401 through 404. Those provisions apply to the custodian, not to this private reference.
12. Severability
If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
