Data You Submit Directly
Information typed into a name, phone, or address search is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Eagle Mountain Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those search terms on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the message, address, or other details you choose to include and use them to respond.
Ordinary Technical Logs
Hosting services may retain normal server logs such as IP address, browser type, page requests, and timestamps. We use those records in aggregate to maintain the site and understand which Utah County reference pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement where enabled.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the pages, answer messages, address errors, review traffic, and improve the reference. We do not sell visitor lists or build individual profiles from ordinary site use.
Links to Other Services
Pages link to Utah County portals, Eagle Mountain City, Utah Courts, state agencies, libraries, archives, and sponsored search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination’s privacy notice controls its form fields, logs, cookies, and search data. Review that notice before submitting information.
Who May Process Logs
Hosting, analytics, and advertising providers may process the technical information described above. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it. We do not disclose contact information for unrelated uses.
Security and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection where supported. Technical logs are retained only for the operational purposes above. There are no site accounts, passwords, or personal profiles here for an attacker to access.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent information so we can review and remove it from our mailbox or logs where possible.
Your Data Choices
Utah’s Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code §§13-61-101 et seq., may give a qualifying consumer rights to confirm processing, access personal data, request deletion of data provided to a covered controller, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale or targeted advertising. A covered business generally has 45 days to respond. Because this site keeps very little, a request usually concerns a contact message or technical log. Use the Contact page.
The Utah Consumer Privacy Act does not require Utah County or Eagle Mountain City to erase a valid public deed, parcel record, or other legally held public record. Requests for those records go to the custodian. The Utah Government Records Access and Management Act, Utah Code Title 63G, Chapter 2, governs public-record access, not this site’s private mailbox.
Policy Changes
If this policy changes, the new wording will appear on this page. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
